  • If an employee wants to use the rollover option, will they automatically be entered in the UW Challenge?

No. If they do nothing, their gift will roll over, but they must go to the UW challenge link and enter the challenge separately.

  • If someone logs in and checks off "I do not wish to give," does that affect rollover?

Yes. If someone logs in and submits the "I do not wish to give" status, that will take precedence, and their gift will not continue into the new year.

  • Do I need to sign on to the system to roll over my pledge if I am not making any changes?

No. You do not need to sign on the ePledge system if you gave through payroll deduction for 26 pay periods last year, the pledge is rolled over automatically.  If you gave through payroll deduction and it's less than 26 pay periods or gave by any other means, then yes, you need to sign on the epledge system to make your donation.

  • Can I let my ambassador know I am rolling over my pledge so I am not getting multiple solicitation emails during the campaign?

Yes, a donor can let their ambassador know anytime during the campaign that they are going to roll over their pledge as long as they gave through payroll deduction for 26 pay periods last year.

  • I recently logged into the SEFA/United Way website to review my donation history and update my selected agency. Under last year's donation history, my pledge status shows as “none.” Could you confirm if this is accurate?

Yes, your pledge status is correctly set to “none” for last year. Pledges made during the campaign apply to deductions that begin in January and continue through December. If a new pledge is made or an existing pledge is rolled over, the status will be updated accordingly.

  • When I put in my email per the instructions or click on "Forget User ID or Password" I get this message in response: "The email address or User ID you provided does not match what we have in our system. Please try again or contact your Campaign Coordinator for assistance."

This happens when you are not in the UW database.  Contact the SEFA committee or your departmental ambassador for assistance.  We thank you for your patience until it is fixed.
